I used a photo from the early ‘70s and went with the matte finished. The stickers are dead ringers for the photo.

Hub City Slaps delivers! I’ve ordered from them a number of times and have not been disappointed once, with one small exception that is easily avoided. I got one order of die-cut stickers that had an added white border around the original image I submitted that was a little too wide for my tastes. Not a deal-a by any means, but I would have preferred it to be a little thinner given the image itself was rather small. This can be avoided by stating clearly how thick you want the border around your image, if any, to be in the comments section when you order, then making sure it’s how you want it when they send you the proof.
The stickers themselves are of excellent quality, and the prices are very competitive, especially when they have sales, which is quite often. I got 100 3” stickers for $28, tax and shipping included! I just got an offer for 100 4” stickers for $38, another great deal.
Color is great, stickers are very high quality. Turnaround time isn’t quite what they promise: they make it sound like your stickers are printing the day after you submit the image, but the reality is that you submit the image, in a day or two (business day, so weekends take longer) you’ll get a proof to approve. If it looks good, then printing happens fairly quickly. Shipping then usually takes about a week before they arrive.
On 12/24 i made an order. Due to the holidays i didn’t geta proof until the 28th. On 12/29 I made another order, on 12/30 I got that proof. On January 5 the stickers finally shipped and this time they arrived quickly because they combined both orders in one shipment, so I got them in the mail on January 7. That long turnaround is unusual, and totally understandable given the Christmas holiday, and it’s usually more like a little over a week or so to get your stickers.
I’m happy with every order from Hub City Slaps! The stickers seem to last really well, holding up to sunlight and washing on things like travel mugs, etc as long as you’re careful to clean the surface you put them on with alcohol or a good scrubbing beforehand, removing any soap residue before applying the sticker. So far, Hub City is the best sticker company I’ve deal with out of four.
